Breakout Chats
Creating group chats can be messy and frustrating. Manually adding members to a new chat is tedious, and after the chat isn’t relevant anymore, it stays in your feed, taking up memory and space.
With Manor, you can easily send an invitation to a breakout chat within a regular group chat. All anyone has to do to join is click on it and the chat is automatically added to the events tab on the home page. If a date is set, the chat will be deleted afterwards.
Easy for group projects, a weekend trip, or even just a night out. Perfect for avoiding chats in a larger group chat that you aren’t interested in.
Push Messages
Reaching everyone in a larger group chat can be difficult, usually requiring sending the same message across several different chats and platforms. Often half of the members of a chat have it muted and messages get buried. This poses a challenge for administrators who have to send the message multiple times among multiple channels.
With Push Messages, admins of a chat can pin a message to the top and override ignore settings to make sure a mission-critical message gets to all members of a chat.
Within the info tab of a chat, admin can see the push message they've sent out, and also see everyone who hasn't acknowledged receipt. With one click of a button, they can send a message to all of them as a reminder. No more manually checking so see who has, and who hasn't done something.
Embedded Venmo Transactions
Getting someone to Venmo you back can be frustrating to all parties involved. Request over Venmo and half the time the other person has notifications for the app turned off. Ask someone over text and they might not know your account information to transfer the money.
With Manor, everyone's Venmo username (but never password) is tied to their account. Just type a message to a friend with the word "Venmo" and a number and Manor knows it is a request. All your friend has to do is click the message, and pay. No entering information. No hassle.
